Almost finished basement

Sara's big wish this year was to have the unfinished portion of our basement converted into a bathroom, laundry room, and bedroom. After saving and planning and waiting, we are almost there. I hired on my Dad as the contractor, and he did most of the work, though Sara and I chipped in when and where we could. We also hired on a friend to help with the framing. Here are some pictures early on, when the framing was about finished, and some recent pictures of it almost completed. I'm hoping to finish up the trim work before the end of the year. We'll see how that goes.

WONDERFUL! How exciting! So nice to have the completed project of the bathroom shown at the end. I like your "Vanna White" there pointing out the new Potty, I am sure you are anxious for her to know how to use it.

Looks beautiful! Hooray! So if this new bedroom is the "office" where have you relocated the toys? Will you still have room for food storage in the laundry room or will it be out in the garage?

Great job guys, your work is inspiring me to do some remodeling at our house... wait, we live in an apartment. OK, so you have inspired me to first get a house! It looks great! What a transformation!

Congratulations on completing that project! Yeah for more room in your house! Damon and I know what a feat that must be- cause we never finished ours in the 5 yrs we had ours! Too much work, too little time... ;)
